New Godzilla Room Checks in at Nijigen no Mori Theme Park
The "Godzilla Collaboration Room" opens at Nijigen no Mori on December 1, 2023.
If you thought Nijigen no Mori's Shin Godzilla zipline was wild, just wait until you check out Japan's celebrated Awaji Island theme park's all-new Godzilla room, which officially opens on December 1 (the same day Godzilla Minus One opens nationwide in the US).
Part of Nijigen no Mori's GRANDCHARIOT resort, the "Godzilla Collaboration Room" celebrates the King of the Monsters' 70th anniversary with kaiju-scaled tapestries, lighting, furniture, and other sensory immersive effects sourced from multiple Godzilla movie eras, and featuring a host of the franchise's most famous kaiju.
Booking a room also gives guests access to special perks, including an admission ticket to the "Godzilla Interception Operations" zipline, a limited-edition acrylic block, an exclusive Godzilla carry-on bag, and a photo frame for those who complete a special scavenger hunt.
The overall vibe and presentation is designed to pair perfectly with the park's other Godzilla attractions, which include the "Godzilla Interception Operations" zipline, Godzilla Museum, Godzilla cafe, Godzilla shooting game, and Godzilla gift shop.
