Godzilla Summer Food Items Arrive at Nijigen no Mori in Japan

Two limited-time Godzilla food items are now being served at Nijigen no Mori on Japan’s Awaji Island, offering visitors a sweet treat and a refreshing dish for the summer season.

Available from July 9 at the Morino Terrace restaurant, located beside the Godzilla Interception Operation attraction, the seasonal menu includes the returning Ice Brûlée Crepe with Godzilla Footprint and the new Godzilla Japanese-Style Black Chilled Udon.

The Ice Brûlée Crepe with Godzilla Footprint returns after proving popular during its previous appearance two years ago. The dessert combines a crisp, caramelized surface with smooth, cold ice cream, creating a mix of textures suited to the warmer months. A footprint design adds a tasty connection to the King of the Monsters.

The second dish gives one of the attraction’s established menu items a summer update. The Godzilla Japanese-Style Black Udon has been transformed into a chilled noodle dish served with a light, cold broth. Fried tofu arranged to resemble the creature’s distinctive dorsal fins rises above the bowl, giving the meal a dramatic presentation designed for both dining and photos.

Nijigen no Mori is an entertainment destination inside Hyogo Prefectural Awaji Island Park. Its Godzilla Interception Operation attraction centers on a giant life-size figure measuring 120 meters in length and places visitors inside an original mission inspired by the films.

Participants join the National Godzilla Awaji Island Research Center before taking on experiences that include a zipline course leading toward the creature’s body and a shooting game focused on eliminating scattered cells. The attraction combines physical activities with specially produced footage and large-scale scenery.

The area also includes the permanent Godzilla Museum, where visitors can see detailed displays and dioramas. Younger guests can visit Kaiju no Mori, an indoor play space featuring around 50 varieties of soft vinyl monster figures.

With chilled noodles, a returning frozen dessert, large-scale attractions, museum exhibits, family activities, and themed accommodations, Nijigen no Mori offers plenty of ways to spend a summer day surrounded by Godzilla.
