Secret Base's 30cm tall Godzilla sofubi is styled after the 1974 Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla movie, which sees the Black Hole Planet 3 aliens disguise Mechagodzilla in a fake Godzilla skin that the real Godzilla tears off in battle. As a design nod to this iconic scene, this Godzilla sofubi has semi-translucent features with an internal Mechagodzilla "skeleton" inside. The figure also honors Godzilla vs. Destoroyah with the translucent plastic showcasing the figure's internal red "glow" as a nod to Godzilla's "burning" form in the film.
