Godzilla Store Nagoya Opens This September With the World’s First Godzilla Minus Zero Statue
07/28/2026
Godzilla Store Nagoya will open on September 4, 2026, bringing an official retail destination for the King of the Monsters to Japan’s Tokai region for the first time.
The shop will be located on the eighth floor of the West Building at Nagoya PARCO, a major shopping complex in central Nagoya. It joins six existing Godzilla Store locations across Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka, as well as international branches in Taipei and Malaysia.
The centerpiece of the Nagoya store will be a new full-body Godzilla statue based on the design featured in Godzilla Minus Zero. The upcoming film is directed and written by Takashi Yamazaki, who is also supervising its visual effects. Created using production data from the movie, the detailed figure will become the world’s first permanent installation of this version of Godzilla.
Godzilla Minus Zero is scheduled to open in Japanese theaters on November 3, 2026, with a global release to follow. The Nagoya display will give visitors an early opportunity to see the film’s new design at full scale before its theatrical debut.
In addition to the statue, Godzilla Store Nagoya will carry a broad selection of figures, plush items, apparel, collectibles, and lifestyle goods. Nagoya-exclusive Godzilla merchandise is also planned, with additional products set to arrive after the opening.
The arrival of an official Godzilla Store creates a new destination for kaiju fans traveling between Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka.
If you’re visiting Japan this fall, be sure to add Godzilla Store Nagoya and its world-first Godzilla Minus Zero display to your itinerary!
