GODZILLA VS EVERYTHING Launches the Kai-Sei Era’s First Crossover Event

The King of the Monsters has reached a terrifying new level of power, and forces from Earth and beyond must unite to stop the destruction of the world! Arriving in comic shops in March 2027, IDW Publishing’s GODZILLA VS EVERYTHING brings together the characters and storylines of the Kai-Sei era for the connected line’s first crossover event.

Written by Tim Seeley and illustrated by Fero Pe, the four-issue series builds on a shared comics universe introduced in July 2025, drawing threads from GODZILLA, STARSHIP GODZILLA, DEADZONE, and THE HORROR OF GODZILLA into a single epic conflict. This crossover event welcomes new readers, but those who have followed these titles will see familiar allies and enemies cross paths as long-running plots reach an explosive turning point.

For Tim Seeley, bringing these characters together has been part of the plan from the outset. “When I started work with editor Jake Williams and IDW on GODZILLA, the big pitch was this was going to play like a universe of titles, but also as a universe of characters,” the writer explains.

“From the beginning, the goal was they'd all come together at some point as friends and/or enemies in a proper comic universe event title. Well, we're here, and all the meticulous plotting of our creative crew leads to a wild, weird, terrifying crossover comic that puts Godzilla, the kaiju and our cast through every epic story beat you've ever wanted,” Seeley adds.

The road to the showdown continues in STARSHIP GODZILLA: INVASION X, GODZILLA: REVENGE OF THE DEADZONE, and the ongoing GODZILLA series. GODZILLA: REVENGE OF THE DEADZONE #1 arrives October 28, while GODZILLA #17 will conclude the ongoing series and set the stage for the crossover.
