The King of the Monsters made a triumphant return to the Bay Area last night at the San Francisco Giants Godzilla VIP Experience at Oracle Park.
The Godzilla VIP Experience at Oracle Park kicked off with a first pitch thrown by baseball legend Masanori Murakami, the first Japanese player to play for a Major League Baseball team, playing as a pitcher with the Giants beginning in 1964. Murakami also attended a Godzilla VIP Experience panel in Triples Alley before the game, which was followed by Godzilla trivia co-hosted by Super7.
Fans in the ballpark had the chance to enjoy the season-long Godzilla Feature Wall near section 113, plus an on-field appearance by Godzilla and Mechagodzilla cosplayers. Before the game began, the crowd was also treated to a scoreboard-sized presentation of the Godzilla Minus One movie trailer.
Eagle-eyed attendees may have also spotted apparel from the all-new Godzilla Baseball Collection, which is available for pre-order now in the Godzilla Store.
