San Francisco Giants Godzilla VIP Experience with Exclusive Bobblehead Coming May 17

The Godzilla VIP Experience at Oracle Park includes an exclusive Godzilla bobblehead.

The King of the Monsters is roaring back to the Bay Area. Just in time for Japanese Heritage Night on Friday, May 17, Toho International, the San Francisco Giants and the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California (JCCCNC) have teamed up to present the all-new Godzilla VIP Experience at Oracle Park.

Held on May 17 starting at 5:15 p.m. at Oracle Park's Triples Alley, Godzilla VIP Experience attendees will have access to complimentary food and beverage. Fans can also take photos with the park's new season-long Godzilla feature wall near section 113.

Perhaps most importantly for Godzilla collectors, though, participating fans will receive one exclusive Japanese Heritage Cherry Blossom Giants jersey, plus one Godzilla Bobblehead that pits the King of the Monsters as it appears in Godzilla Minus One vs. the San Francisco Giants mascot Lou Seal.

Godzilla is no stranger to San Francisco, appearing near the Golden Gate Bridge and beyond in both Hanna-Barbera's 1978 Godzilla and the 1998 Godzilla: The Series animated series. 2024 also marks the 10-year anniversary of Godzilla's San Francisco appearance in Legendary's 2014 Godzilla Monsterverse film, which was recently revisited in Monarch: Legacy of Monsters streaming series on Apple TV+.
