The Godzilla THE ART exhibit has officially wrapped in Tokyo, but a curated selection of exclusive merchandise tied to the 70th anniversary project is now available through Godzilla Store US!
Held from April 26 to June 29, 2025, at the Mori Arts Center Gallery in Tokyo, Godzilla THE ART brought together contemporary artists from Japan and abroad to explore how the King of the Monsters has been reimagined across seven decades. The exhibition combined fine art, installations, and a large-scale Godzilla diorama created by Toho Eizo Bijutsu, alongside an exhibition-only video experience. With the event now concluded, the fun continues through exclusive merchandise that carries the spirit of the show forward.
Postcards Featuring Exhibition Artists
A major part of the Godzilla THE ART merchandise lineup consists of postcards featuring artwork by participating artists, including Jean Jullien, James Jarvis, Julio Anaya, Hiroki Tsukuda, Kotaro Abe, Pex Pitakpong, Ryūichi Ōhira, Stickymonger, Tetsuya Nakamura, and TOKI. Each design reflects an individual artist’s unique visual approach to Godzilla, resulting in a wide variety of styles across the series. The lineup includes a Mechagodzilla postcard by Pex Pitakpong alongside multiple postcard designs credited to Jean Jullien, offering collectors several distinct artist-led options.
Everyday Items Inspired by the Exhibit
The release also includes practical accessories that make creative use of Godzilla THE ART imagery. A CPD embroidered hat adds a wearable piece tied to COIN PARKING DELIVERY’s graphic style, expanding the lineup beyond stationery and paper goods.
Bags, Wearables, and Artist Collaborations
Among the standout items is a tote bag created by Kosuke Kawamura in collaboration with Kensuke Koike, emphasizing the exhibition’s focus on contemporary art and design partnerships. Together with the tote, hat, and bottle, these pieces highlight how the spirit of Godzilla THE ART extends beyond the gallery into functional everyday objects.
