What if the Foot Clan started in the footprint of... Godzilla? IDW Publishing's next kaiju-scaled comic book crossover will answer that question and a monster's worth of others when Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Godzilla #1 arrives in shops on November 12.
Written by IDW's Kai-Sei Era Godzilla comic series writer Tim Seeley and illustrated by frequent TMNT artist Fero Pe, the upcoming event series will explore a world where the Foot Clan was founded to protect Japan from kaiju, only to fracture due to Shredder, leading to a new conflict pitting Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo against the King of the Monsters. What's more, the heroes in a half shell and Toho's monsters will contend with Shredder's attempts to create a new mutagen that could see some kaiju and mutant crossovers similar to the upcoming TMNT x Godzilla action figure line from Playmates.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Godzilla #1 will feature a main cover by Pe, with variant covers by Baldemar Rivas (Godzilla Vs. The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers II), Dylan Burnett, Riley Rossmo, and Juni Ba (Godzilla: Skate or Die variant covers).
