Everything you Need to Know to Celebrate Godzilla Day 2023

On November 3, 1954 director Ishirō Honda and special effects master Eiji Tsuburaya's vision for movie monsters changed cinema forever as Godzilla opened in theaters. On November 3, 2023, we join our fellow fans and proud partners in recognizing the indomitable 69-year influence of the King of the Monsters with the biggest Godzilla Day yet.

Movies and Streaming 

Godzilla Minus One Movie Tickets
Tickets are now officially for sale for director Takashi Yamazaki's Godzilla Minus One, which opens nationwide on December 1. There will also be special Early Access Event Screenings for fans on Wednesday, November 29 in IMAX and large format theaters across the country. Preorder your tickets here.

Pluto TV Movie Marathon
In celebration of Godzilla Day, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT, Mondo Senior Creative Directors and Godzilla experts Hector Arce and Peter Santa-Maria will host a special stream-along during Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla on Mondo's YouTube so viewers can watch along on the Godzilla channel on Pluto TV, hear special commentary, submit questions and also join the conversation across social media with #GodzillaDay all day! The Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla stream-along on Pluto TV’s Godzilla channel will be followed by Godzilla (1998), Godzilla: Final Wars, and concluding with the original 1954 Godzilla.

Additionally, The Shout! TV channel on Pluto TV will celebrate Godzilla Day on November 3 with an encore presentation of MASTERS OF MONSTERS, the 2022 original production television special featuring John Carpenter as he hosts a marathon of four monster films directed by Ishiro Hondo including Gojira (1954), Rodan, Ghidorah, The Three-Headed Monster, and The War of the Gargantuas.

One-Day-Only Godzilla 2000 Screening
Start celebrating Godzilla Day early on November 1, which marks the first time US fans can see a one-day-only screening of the Japanese language director's cut of Godzilla 2000 in select theaters via Fathom Events and Sony Pictures. Tickets are available now.

Social Media Hashtag
Beginning today, using the hashtag "#GodzillaMinusOne" will automatically display a special Godzilla emoji on some of your favorite social media platforms. Start posting to see the King of the Monsters icon on your feed.

Head to the Godzilla Store to shop exclusive Godzilla Day 2023 apparel offered for a limited time preorder, plus Mondo's exclusive SpaceGodzilla Soft Vinyl color variant and its Godzilla vs SpaceGodzilla Original Soundtrack LP color variant.

Kinokuniya USA
The Japan and US-based retailer, Kinokuniya, will import new products from Toho Stella at its physical stores.
