The holidays just got a little louder. The Criterion Collection, the long-running home-video label known for restoring classic and international cinema in high quality editions, is teaming up with Godzilla for a monster-sized giveaway. Three lucky fans will walk away with premium swag that dives deep into the Showa-era legacy.
From December 3 at 12 PM PT through December 10 at 11:59 PM PT, fans can enter through a link on Godzilla.com for a shot at some serious shelf candy. Each winner gets a copy of Godzilla: The Showa-Era Films 1954-1975 Collector's Blu-Ray Set, a massive Blu-ray collection featuring the first wave of classic Godzilla films as restored by Criterion.
The iconic Godzilla: The Showa-Era Films box set covers everything from the original 1954 debut through the kaiju classics of the 1970s: 15 titles in all, packaged with original art, film essays, and Criterion’s usual attention to detail. An additional limited-edition Godzilla Store Exclusive will also be gifted to winners in the form of a Godzilla 1954 Print Portfolio 6-Pack.
