Mondo’s Godzilla 1954 Reimagined Heat Ray Variant Comes to Godzilla Store US

06/24/2026

Godzilla Store US is now taking pre-orders for Mondo’s Tanaka Studio Godzilla 1954 Reimagined, Heat Ray Variant, a new Godzilla Store Exclusive limited to 250 pieces!

Mondo is known for collectible vinyl figures, posters, and pop culture art inspired by film and television. For this special item, Mondo has teamed up with Ken-Ichi Tanaka of Tanaka Studio, whose detailed sculpting is beloved by kaiju fans and model collectors alike.

The piece offers a fresh interpretation of the original 1954 Godzilla. The detailed sculpt highlights the King of the Monsters’ rugged skin texture, powerful stance, and finely shaped dorsal fins, preserving the classic silhouette while giving it a striking new presence.

The Heat Ray Variant features a dramatic paint treatment by David Dopko, a highly regarded Godzilla garage kit painter. The icy-blue finish gives the roto soft vinyl body an intense, energized look that sets it apart from the standard version.

Standing approximately 10 inches tall and weighing 4 lbs, this Godzilla Store Exclusive brings Mondo, Tanaka Studio, and David Dopko’s craftsmanship together into an impressive kaiju collectible.

Pre-order Mondo’s Tanaka Studio Godzilla 1954 Reimagined, Heat Ray Variant now at Godzilla Store US before this exclusive sells out!
