'Monarch: Legacy of Monsters' Gets November 17 Debut, New Teaser Trailer

The wait for the Monarch: Legacy of Monsters release date is over. Apple TV+'s streaming expansion of Legendary's Monsterverse arrives on Friday, November 17 with the debut of the series' first two episodes, followed by a new episode every Friday through January 12.

Apple TV+ has released a new teaser trailer and images from the 10-episode sci-fi drama, which stars Kurt Russell, Wyatt Russell, Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Anders Holm, Joe Tippett, and Elisa Lasowski.

Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is executive produced by Toho Co., Ltd. Representative Director and President, Hiro Matsuoka and Head, Global Strategies, Takemasa Arita and Legendary Television. The series is co-developed and executive produced by Chris Black and Matt Fraction. The first two episodes were directed by Matt Shakman, who serves as executive producer alongside Joby Harold and Tory Tunnell from Safehouse Pictures, Andy Goddard, Brad Van Arragon, and Andrew Colville.

The Monsterverse story will continue in Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire on March 15, 2024.
