07/08/2026
Godzilla Interception Operation at Awaji Island Anime Park Nijigen no Mori is giving visitors another reason to plan a trip to the park, with special ticket bonuses now available for two of its premium admission options.
Guests who purchase a VIP Journey Pass can receive an original Godzilla sukajan jacket, a Japanese souvenir-style satin jacket known for bold embroidery, featuring a design inspired by Godzilla Interception Operation. Premium Ticket holders can take home a plush Nijigen no Mori Godzilla backpack, designed to look as if the creature is riding on the wearer’s back while they explore the park.
Nijigen no Mori is an entertainment area located inside Hyogo Prefectural Awaji Island Park. The park is home to several attractions based on Japanese pop culture, with Godzilla Interception Operation serving as one of its major destinations. The attraction is built around a giant life-size Godzilla installed on Awaji Island, measuring 120 meters in length.
The experience casts visitors as members of the National Godzilla Awaji Island Research Center. Participants take on missions connected to the creature’s appearance on the island, including a zipline course that sends guests into Godzilla’s body and a shooting game centered on clearing Godzilla cells scattered through the area.
Godzilla Interception Operation also includes the permanent Godzilla Museum, the first facility of its kind in the world. The attraction area features displays, photo spots, food, merchandise, and the indoor kids area Kaiju no Mori, where younger visitors can play with around 50 types of kaiju soft vinyl figures.
With the VIP Journey Pass sukajan jacket and Premium Ticket backpack, Nijigen no Mori is adding another exclusive collectible element to one of Japan’s most distinctive Godzilla attractions.
