MECHAGODZILLA

The ultimate anti-Godzilla weapon.

Godzilla's mechanical doppelgänger Mechagodzilla has manifested in many forms over the years as extraterrestrials and the Japanese military alike battled the King of the Monsters.

The original Mechagodzilla was a walking robotic weapon created by aliens. Its missile-stocked body fired explosives from every appendage. Its eyes produced a devastating rainbow-colored Space Beam, and its chest opened to unleash a crackling Cross Attack Beam. For protection, Mechagodzilla spun its head to project a powerful Defense Neo Barrier.

The Heisei era Mechagodzilla was created by the Japanese military's G-Force from the salvaged remains of the cosmic cyborg from the future, Mecha-King Ghidorah. It featured upgraded energy and missile weapons, plus the ability to merge with the super jet Garuda to transform into Super Mechagodzilla.

The third, Millennium-era Mechagodzilla was the Multipurpose Fighting System Type-3, or Kiryu, built by the Japanese Self Defense Force's Anti Megalosaurus Force using the skeletal remains of the 1954 Godzilla. Its arsenal included the Spiral Claw and Maser Blade, plus railgun and onboard maser cannons, but its ultimate weapon was the chest mounted Absolute Zero Cannon, used to freeze foes solid.
