"Godzilla: The Art Exhibition" was held in the summer of 2025 in Tokyo, Japan.
Godzilla, who celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2024, has been depicted in numerous films from birth to the present day. Symbolizing each era, Godzilla has appeared before us as a different being depending on the director, making it impossible to define in a single word. "Godzilla: The Art Exhibition" was an exhibition that expressed Godzilla through a variety of art forms that transcend the boundaries of film. Contemporary artists from Japan and around the world presented their answers to the question, "What is Godzilla?" in the form of art across multiple medias and disciplines.
