KUMONGA

Kumonga is a giant spider kaiju that strikes with webbing and venomous bites.

In a hidden valley lair on Sollgel Island lives the 45 meter tall spider, Kumonga. With eight incredibly long legs, a venomous stinger in its mandibles, and the ability to spin a webbing capable of stopping even Godzilla in its tracks, Kumonga is a fearsome arachnid antagonist.

While peacefully hibernating, the mammoth spider was awoken by Minilla after the small kaiju kicked a boulder into its lair. The giant spider quickly emerged from its den and eventually trapped Minilla in its sticky webbing, along with some of the island's other giant insect denizens. Just before Kumonga reached the captured Minilla, Godzilla clobbered the spider in the head with a huge boulder, sending it reeling on its back.

From there, a long and vicious battle unfolded, which ended with Godzilla and Minilla combining their heat rays and making short work of Kumonga, barbecuing the giant spider in a blaze of glory.
