Released in 2017, the 6th installment of the Toho 30 cm series Yuji Sakai Modeling Collection “Godzilla (1954) Godzilla, the King of Monsters” is a masterful reproduction of the original Godzilla. The charm has been fully reproduced.
Mr. Sakai, who supervised the creation of monsters at the "Tsuburaya Eiji Museum" in Sukagawa City, Fukushima Prefecture, created this "King of the Monsters Godzilla" when he recreated the first Godzilla statue (No. (Yuji Sakai Modeling Studio "30cm King of Monsters Godzilla" 2014). The original Godzilla statue of the Tsuburaya Eiji Museum, which Mr. Sakai carefully verified by interviewing the movie staff and all kinds of materials, was completed with a reproducibility that can be said to be a reprint of the original Godzilla, which does not exist, and was created from the same mold. Two statues and a suit (No. 2 suit) that are active as attractions are sculpted and owned by Toho Visual Arts Co., Ltd. under the supervision of Mr. Sakai.
