Toho Special Effects Official Visual Book vol.19 Godzilla 1955

$15.00

The "Toho SFX MOVIES AUTHENTIC VISUAL BOOK" series focuses on a single character—primarily one monster—from a specific work, compiling it into a dedicated volume. Featuring large, detailed images, this book allows readers to appreciate the texture, intricacy, and subtle design details of the character. Written descriptions are kept to a minimum, emphasizing a purely visual experience.

In this issue, the focus is on the second Godzilla, featured in Gigantis, The Fire Monster (1955), the second film in the Godzilla series. This version of Godzilla is notable for its slimmer body compared to the original. Through snapshots and still images captured during the film's production, readers can explore the unique design of Godzilla from 1955.

Postscript: This film was released in the United States in 1959 under the title Gigantis, The Fire Monster.

Beautiful Collectable

If you wanted to see the creation of your favorite monsters from concept art to final battle, these are perfect little books. My only issue is that Godzilla.com doesn’t have enough of them! Stock Destoroyah you cowards.
