The 12.2 x 17.32" Toho 30cm Series Godzilla (1995) Last Scene Yuji Sakai Sculpture Collection figure was originally released as a garage kit by Yuji Sakai Modeling Studio in 2019, the year that marked the transition from the Heisei era to the Reiwa era. Now, this stunning figure joins the popular "Yuji Sakai Modeling Collection" series, which uses the same prototype as the garage kit to release pre-painted soft vinyl figures. Sakai's original cast was converted into wax to create a master mold. This product is molded solely from the master mold, minimizing wear and tear during the soft vinyl production process to maximize detail reproduction.
As the name suggests this figure by Sakai beautifully recreates Godzilla's shocking, backlit roar from the final scene of Godzilla vs. Destoroyah. Godzilla's distinctive thick chest and powerful legs have been faithfully recreated, capturing its powerful form in the film.
Working as a sculptor on Godzilla vs. Destroyah, Sakai faithfully recreated Godzilla's 1995 form, based on his own experience and treasured photographs from his time working on the film.
