Took long enough

26 years after Godzilla (1998) came out, we finally have a semi articulated figure of this incarnation. However, it’s from when it appeared in Godzilla Final Wars. To me, that doesn’t really matter since the design as a whole has grown on me.

This MMS does the job at depicting the character and I view it as a must have for fans of Zilla. My only complaint is that the paint could be a bit better to highlight the details. I gave it 5 stars since it’s the first Zilla MMS.

Zilla got a quick beating in the movie but your wallet won’t if you pick this up!!!

This is a great addition to my ever growing collection!! I’m really hoping we get a 98 version in the s.h. Monsterarts line!!!

ZILLA: TUNA HEAD IMPOSTER OR WELCOMED MONSTER TO THE ROSTER?

I absolutely love Zilla and have an even greater love for its source material Godzilla 1998. This simple but great figure is truly a sign of changing times that this monster can be accepted and given the Bandai treatment post 2004. I genuinely hope there will be a Godzilla 1998 and even Godzilla: The Series figure down the line. Let's not ignore the Tristar parts of Godzilla's legacy.

A tuna-head worth having in your collection

I love this guy! I was really happy to see him get his own figure in the Movie Monster line, and he looks pretty good for a budget figure. I'm hoping one day we get a version based on the 1998 movie and the cartoon series that followed it up.

WHOLE LOTTA MEH...

I was a bit disappointed with this one. Granted, it's nice to have a Zilla figure in my collection (aside from the old TrendMasters fig), it just comes off as basic and plain. HUMOROUS ODDITY: this is based on Zilla from Final Wars. Toho said they scanned a TrendMasters Ultimate Godzilla for Zilla in the movie. In a weird way, I now own a version of Ultimate Godzilla...irony.

While I truly love having " Zilla" from final wars to add to my collection, I'm very sad to say, he's nowhere near the 10.2 " height they claim him to be. He's barely 5" inches if that. Needless to say , I was very disappointed with it.
