Bandai Movie Monster Series Godzilla (2023) Metallic Ver.

I didn't feel bad about throwing down $28+ for this when I ordered it. I'm not a collector, but I am a Godzilla fan and Minus 1 is my current favorite GZ movie. So I thought I'd buy this just to have. It looks ok. Pretty good representation of the movie monster. But overall, it's cheap Chinese merch. Shouldn't be more than a few bucks IMO. You can get equal quality toys from the dollar store. Walmart has better stuff for half the price. The only exception is this is licensed from Toho and I haven't seen Minus 1 merch at Walmart. It is what it is. It's cool, just not twentyeight dollars cool.

A nice color variant of an excellent vinyl sculpt.

A solid figure - all things considered it's your standard MMS, with great details and typical points of articulation. The silver chrome repaint is neat as it does shine in the light, and it still retains the yellow eyes and red mouth. That said, because the body is all just monochromatic silver, it's not necessarily a "fun" recolor, as opposed to others that have a completely new striking paint scheme or are remolded in a new plastic.

It's fine. If you really like the base MinusGoji MMS, then you might consider getting this as a variant. That said, there's not much that really sets it apart nor really make it pop out if you put it in a collection of other figures. Might offer some interesting photography options, as I said the silver does shine in the light.
