Super TOHO 30cm Series Godzilla (1999)

Professional sculptors poured their hearts and souls into crafting the kaiju of the Godzilla films. Fans everywhere have fervently embraced the incredible Godzilla suit that these artisans crafted with such passion and care.
Utilizing modern 3D scanning technology and in collaboration once again with the Godzilla sculptors, the new Super Toho 30cm Series has been created.
The first project in the Series is this reproduction of Godzilla that was released to the public in the 1999 film Godzilla 2000: Millennium.
The existing Millennium Godzilla suit was restored for exhibition, and under the supervision of Shinichi Wakasa, 3D modeling was then used to create the prototype.
The paint work was done by Shigemasa Yoshida, the artist in charge of coloring the original suit.
The suit made for the photo shoot will be made into a soft vinyl figure, aiming to be as close to the real thing as possible, using the most advanced technology available today.
