Godzilla and More Toho Kaiju Come to 'Minecraft' in New DLC

Big news for fans who dig digital blocks and the King of the Monsters - Minecraft just launched Godzilla DLC.

Created by Japanese studio Team-KYO and Impress, the new Minecraft Godzilla DLC includes four new gameplay modes – all available in multiplayer – including a monster escape mission, a mission to speed build against a monster attack, and more. Players will also have access to a character creator item.

As seen in the new Minecraft Godzilla DLC trailer, players can expect to encounter several cinematic Godzilla incarnations, including from Godzilla (1954), Shin Godzilla, and many others.

Joining the kaiju fray are also King Ghidorah, Mothra, Rodan, Destoroyah, Mechagodzilla, Jet Jaguar, and Anguirus, just to name a few. Additionally, Toho’s classic Godzilla characters will be joined in the DLC by Godzilla, Kong, and Monarch from Legendary’s Monsterverse franchise.

The new Godzilla DLC is available now in the Minecraft Marketplace.
