'Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire' Gets New March 29 Release Date

Mark your calendars one more time. The next entry in the Legendary Monsterverse franchise will now officially arrive on the silver screen when Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire opens in theaters on March 29.

Originally slated to open in theaters on March 15, 2024 the film was rescheduled to arrive on screen on April 12, 2024 before reaching its new release date of March 29, 2024.

The most recent Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire trailer gave fans their first long look at an augmented Kong, magenta-finned Godzilla, villainous Skar King, and a new young Kong.

The new March 29 Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire release date brings the film's debut a few weeks closer to the finale of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters on AppleTV+, meaning fans won't have to go quite as long without new Godzilla action as expected.
