'Godzilla vs. X-Men' #1 Drops May 14 from Marvel Comics

Following the Fantastic Four, the Hulk, and Spider-Man, Marvel's merry mutants are the next up to face The King of the Monsters when Godzilla vs. X-Men #1 arrives in comic shops and online on May 14.

Written by iconic X-Men and X-Force scribe Fabien Nicieza and illustrated by Emilio Laiso (Power Man: Timeless), Godzilla vs. X-Men #1 will feature a cover by Tony Daniel, plus variant covers by Mike McKone, Taurin Clarke, Nick Bradshaw, Chris Campana, Iban Coello, Lee Garbett, and Paolo Rivera.

When a robotics firm draws a kaiju’s anger, the X-Men are called in to protect a world that hates and fears them from the counterattack of…GODZILLA! But what are the reasons for Godzilla’s attacks? And are the X-Men on the right side? Follow the X-Men as they take on THE KING OF MONSTERS before humanity sends forth the Sentinels to finish the job!

It smells like victory!"
