New crossover from Gerry Duggan, Javier Garrón, and Ig Guara revealed at New York Comic Con 2025
Godzilla is back, and this time the King of the Monsters is heading for the depths of space. Announced at New York Comic Con’s Retailer Panel, Godzilla: Infinity Roar will unleash a five-issue crossover event this February from writer Gerry Duggan and artist Javier Garrón, with additional art by Ig Guara.
Following Godzilla Destroys the Marvel Universe, which concludes in November, Infinity Roar continues the saga of Toho’s legendary kaiju rampaging through Marvel’s most far-out frontiers. This next chapter propels Godzilla beyond Earth, setting the creature on a collision course with outer space and one of Marvel’s most dangerous entities, Knull, the God of Symbiotes.
As teased in Godzilla vs. Spider-Man #1, this shocking alliance between the King of Monsters and the King in Black threatens to upend the very order of creation. Earth’s heroes may have saved their planet by exiling Godzilla into space, but the entire galaxy is about to pay the price.
From the Galactic Empire of Wakanda to the Kree Skrull Alliance and the Shi’ar territories, no world will be safe when Godzilla’s fury meets Knull’s darkness. Together, they launch a campaign of destruction that could reshape existence itself, and only the combined might of Marvel’s defenders stands in their way.
“Most movie stars are a giant pain... but not Godzilla, who has been a privilege and a joy to collaborate with, and the fun will continue in outer space,” Duggan shared. “And I can say the ideas that are in the mix now are going to make this the biggest, craziest and most dangerous Godzilla crossover ever. The Marvel Universe has never been in more peril! See you in space.” - Gerry Duggan
Godzilla: Infinity Roar #1 features a main cover by Ken Lashley and a variant cover by Josemaria Casanovas. The issue arrives February 4 at comic shops everywhere.
