“Chibi Godzilla Raids Again” to Debut on Godzilla YouTube Channel

New Anime Debuts with English Subtitles on Official YouTube Channel

Welcome back, Chibi Godzilla! Everyone’s favorite little monster has made its return with the new anime series “Chibi Godzilla Raids Again,” and you can soon watch the official English subtitle release! Starting next week, the official Godzilla Toho YouTube channel will post weekly episodes of “Chibi Godzilla Raids Again” with English subtitles. Episode 1 premieres on April 11, with additional episodes uploaded on Mondays.

The new anime series includes 13 episodes standing at two minutes and forty seconds each and features a story centered on quirky and hilarious exchanges between the pint-sized monsters.

Fans will find Chibi Godzilla (voiced by Jun Fukuyama) living on Monster Island, when suddenly, the appearance of Chibi Mechagodzilla (voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka) shakes things up for all monsters. As seen in the “Chibi Godzilla Raids Again” key visual and teaser video, Chibi Godzilla will be joined by a large cast of new and familiar chibi characters. With such an impressive lineup, who knows what’s in store on Monster Island!

The World of Chibi Godzilla

The miniature and cheerful Chibi Godzilla was first introduced in the 2018 children’s book, “Do Your Best, Chibi Godzilla!” by Chiharu Sakazaki. Since its debut, Chibi Godzilla has been featured in two additional picture books and a short-form 3D-animated web series “I’m Home! Chibi Godzilla,” which ran two seasons from 2020 to 2021.
